Artificial intelligence (AI) is wide-ranging branch of computer science concerned with building smart machines capable of performing tasks that typically require human intelligence. AI is an interdisciplinary science with multiple approaches, but advancements in machine learning & deep learning are creating a paradigm shift in virtually every sector of the tech industry.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform, offering over 200 fully featured services from data centers globally. Millions of customers — including the fastest-growing startups, largest enterprises, and leading government agencies — are using AWS to lower costs, become more agile, and innovate faster.

Some AI services on AWS are:

1 . Amazon Rekognition

For object recognition we have amazon rekognition. Amazon Rekognition makes it easy to add image and video analysis to your applications using proven, highly scalable, deep learning technology that requires no machine learning expertise to use. With Amazon Rekognition, you can identify objects, people, text, scenes, and activities in images and videos, as well as detect any inappropriate content. Amazon Rekognition also provides highly accurate facial analysis and facial search capabilities that you can use to detect, analyze, and compare faces for a wide variety of user verification, people counting, and public safety use cases.

when the model / human analyze the object they always analyze with the confidence score . How much model / human confident about that particular object .

2. Amazon Transcribe

For speech recognition we have amazon transcribe .

Amazon Transcribe uses a deep learning process called automatic speech recognition (ASR) to convert speech to text quickly and accurately. Amazon Transcribe can be used to transcribe customer service calls, automate subtitling, and generate metadata for media assets to create a fully searchable archive.

3. Amazon Polly

For text to speech we have amazon polly. Amazon Polly is a service that turns text into lifelike speech, allowing you to create applications that talk, and build entirely new categories of speech-enabled products. Polly’s Text to Speech (TTS) service uses advanced deep learning technologies to synthesize natural sounding human speech. With dozens of lifelike voices across a broad set of languages, you can build speech-enabled applications that work in many different countries.

4. Amazon Comprehend

It will helps you to find insights of your data example name , email, company , bank account etc. Amazon Comprehend is a natural-language processing (NLP) service that uses machine learning to uncover information in unstructured data. Instead of combing through documents, the process is simplified and unseen information is easier to understand.

5. Amazon Textract

It is a service will helps you to convert hardcopy image context into soft copy . example captcha generator . Amazon Textract is a machine learning service that automatically extracts text, handwriting and data from scanned documents that goes beyond simple optical character recognition (OCR) to identify, understand, and extract data from forms and tables. Today, many companies manually extract data from scanned documents like PDFs, images, tables and forms, or through simple OCR software that requires manual configuration which often times requires reconfiguration when the form changes.

6. Amazon Translator

It will helps you to translate the context from one language to another language. Amazon Translate is a neural machine translation service that delivers fast, high-quality, and affordable language translation. Neural machine translation is a form of language translation automation that uses deep learning models to deliver more accurate and more natural sounding translation than traditional statistical and rule-based translation algorithms.

7. Amazon Personalize

It will create a recommendations system based on your dataset you provided.Amazon Personalize is a machine learning service that makes it easy for developers to add individualized recommendations to customers who use their applications. It reflects the vast experience that Amazon has in building personalization systems. You can use Amazon Personalize in a variety of scenarios, such as giving users recommendations based on their preferences and behavior, personalized re-ranking of results, and personalizing content for emails and notifications.

8. Amazon Fraud Detector

It will detects frauds. example if a person entering a random password for hacking purpose then we can connect amazon fraud detector to that web page in which you have bank webpage. Amazon Fraud Detector is a fully managed service that helps you detect suspicious online activities such as the creation of fake accounts and online payment fraud. Amazon Fraud Detector uses machine learning (ML) and 20 years of fraud detection expertise from AWS .

7. Amazon CodeGuru

You can analyse your code how much about of space and memory used . For that calculate but amazon provides a service that will guide you to save the time and space . code guru provides you two types of service -CodeGuru Profiler & CodeGuru Reviewer. This will helps you to load your code from lambda or from your own laptop. code guru profiler agent retrives all the code . the code guru profiler agent takes upto 15 mintues to view your code .after profiling done they will give you the recommendationsof heap usage , cpu usage , latency summary.

8. Amazon Kendra

Amazon Kendra is eneterprise search add natural language seach capabilites to your apps . so users can find the information they need more easily. Using Amazon Kendra, you can stop searching through troves of unstructured data and discover the right answers to your questions, when you need them. Amazon Kendra is a fully managed service, so there are no servers to provision, and no machine learning models to build, train, or deploy.

9. Amazon Lex

Amazon Lex is a service for building conversational interfaces into any application using voice and text. Amazon Lex provides the advanced deep learning functionalities of automatic speech recognition (ASR) for converting speech to text, and natural language understanding (NLU) to recognize the intent of the text, to enable you to build applications with highly engaging user experiences and lifelike conversational interactions. With Amazon Lex, the same deep learning technologies that power Amazon Alexa are now available to any developer, enabling you to quickly and easily build sophisticated, natural language, conversational bots.

10 . Amazon Forecast

Amazon Forecast is a fully managed service that uses statistical and machine learning algorithms to deliver highly accurate time-series forecasts. Based on the same technology used for time-series forecasting at Amazon.com, Forecast provides state-of-the-art algorithms to predict future time-series data based on historical data, and requires no machine learning experience.
